Pilot Plant Supervisor responsible for the supervision of two pilot plant technicians and ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, documentations reporting and sanitation standards. R&D Supervisor is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the pilot plant within company standards of quality, cost and safe work procedures. Candidate must be a dependable self-starter who had the follow-up skills to produce extraordinary results with integrity and communicate challenges effectively, while displaying a positive can-do attitude. Supervises Pilot Plant technicians, coordinates the daily activates of effectively manage the flow of R&D, maintain thorough knowledge of all manufacturing processes and equipment, coordinates with maintenance, engineering and others to solve technical issues, identifies and initiates process improvements, trains, upgrades evaluate and reviews all shift employees and assures adherence to SQF, train employees in NFPA, HACCP, GMP and Safety regulations
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of college level coursework/specialized training with progressively responsible experience.
Minimum of two year experience in manufacturing supervision required
Good written and verbal skills
Computer proficiency to include Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office skills as well as Internet research skills
Physical ability to perform task that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities.
Works comfortably in a fast paced environment
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to plan, organize prioritize work and take initiative and creativity to troubleshoot/ problem solve and determine the approach or action to take in non-routine situations.
Demonstrates leadership skills with ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion and maintain confidentiality.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
